First Gift pt. 2Mari retreated to her room and the door shut behind her. The sound was clear, and it sent a small vibration through the thin wall to Asuka's room. Feeling and hearing the door through a pause in her music, Asuka hesitantly got up and walked to the door of her room. She cracked the door and peaked out, making sure that Mari was not in her room. She carefully and quietly opened her door the rest of the way and stepped out, only to feel something underneath her foot.

Asuka looked down and found herself stepping on a black hat. It looked just like the one she had bought Mari, except it had two pins on it, one of which she recognized as the symboFirst Gift pt. 2 by ~randmthotz

First GiftIt was a colder than normal day so Mari, wearing a jacket and the white hat with cat ears that Asuka had bought her a week ago, went about her daily errands. She walked back in to the apartment, calling back that she was home, but there was no response.

"Asuka?" She called out, curious as to where her roommate could be, "I'm back and I picked up food, where are you?" There was no response again. It wasn't like Asuka to go out, especially without notice, so Mari was a little worried. She searched all over the house and it didn't seem like she left any notes.

Mari sighed and sat down on the couch, taking out her phone before sending a couple First Gift by ~randmthotz
